Advanced Ski Touring

Are you looking to expand your backcountry knowledge, enhance your decision making skills and improve your efficiency in the mountains? This camp will push you to the next level of backcountry travel with three full days of guided ski touring in Rogers Pass.

The advanced course is designed to provide more experienced skiers the chance to build confidence and increase exposure to backcountry terrain with other like-minded females. This is a unique opportunity to explore the challenging Rogers Pass terrain in a safe and supportive environment.Our goal is to build the skill-set and foster the confidence to safely lead your friends on an adventure in the backcountry!

• Expert or advanced downhill skier

• Comfortable in varying terrain and conditions

• Ski tour 10-20 times in the previous season

• Fairly comfortable with backcountry gear and basic rescue procedures

• Keen to increase backcountry awareness

• Good baseline fitness level
